Chantal Nchako is a celebrated actress and director whose work spans film, television, and stage. She has appeared in Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F, currently streaming on Netflix, and in international productions including Rai Cinema’s Poveri Noi and Under the Rain (2026). She served as Assistant Director on Distant Tales and is developing Chop Chair, her first feature film. She works in English, Italian, and French. She studied Shakespeare at the British American Drama Academy at Oxford University and received the Ava Greenwald Memorial Scholarship for Outstanding MFA Actor at USC.

She was also the first USC MFA student selected to join the non-equity company of the Williamstown Theatre Festival in New York. In addition to her screen work, she is a resident faculty member at Silva Arte e Danza Musical Theatre Academy in Siracusa, Italy, where she leads acting masterclasses and artist-in-residence programs. She also directs musical theatre productions, mentors emerging and professional artists, and has served as a guest lecturer at Syracuse Academy. She has participated in international creative and cultural programs associated with ActionAid, the Ed Asner Family Center, and the Urbino Awards.

ARTIST-IN-RESIDENCE

Chantal has taught master classes at Silva Arte e Danza Muscal Theatre Academy in Siracusa, Italy and at Emme Studio under Sergio Martinelli in Rome, Italy. She believes that art is an elevated experience that investigates the complexities of life which ultimately leads you to freedom and longevity.
